Open-Source Software & Attributions
BioAgentry is built on open-source bioinformatics software. We are grateful to the researchers and maintainers who develop and share these tools. This page lists the software we run and the terms under which we use it.
MAGeCK and MAGeCK2
BioAgentry runs analyses using MAGeCK (Model-based Analysis of Genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 Knockout) and MAGeCK2, tools for analyzing pooled CRISPR screens. MAGeCK was developed by Wei Li and Han Xu in the laboratory of Dr. Xiaole Shirley Liu, and is actively maintained by the Wei Li laboratory.
